steel girders and plates, silver nuts and bolts,
wheels, a motor and everything you need to build cars, machines, towers.
The larger the set, the greater the flexibility in design and a greater number of
models that can be built one at a time according to the illustrated instructions provided
with each kit. Meccano has been producing these sets in Europe since the early 1900's (
Some say A.C. Gilbert "borrowed" his idea from them. ) While basically the same as the
old Erector, today's sets all use easier to tighten allen head bolts. Each
of the six sets we offer include motors to
build models that move! Plus some of the sets feature elaborate gearboxes and clutches.
